Does SharePlant Rentals own any equipment
SharePlant Rentals is an equipment marketplace where Owners can rent out their underutilised equipment to Buyers. SharePlant Rentals does not own any equipment, but provides the marketplace platform to facilitate rentals between Owners and Buyers.
What background checks do you carry out?
We carry out various levels of company background checks and ID verifications on our equipment owners and Buyers. We will contact you at the correct time to start these checks.
What type of equipment can I list on SharePlant Rentals?
You can list any type of construction and engineering plant, equipment or tools – including accessories and attachments. All equipment must comply with applicable legislation and Health and Safety regulations. It is the Owner’s responsibility to ensure compliance.
What are the main benefits of listing my equipment on SharePlant Rentals
SharePlant Rentals allows equipment Owners to rent out under utilised or spare equipment, increasing revenue and profit. It also allows Owners to provide additional revenue earning services such as rental add ons (e.g. attachments and accessories) and sale of equipment, goods and materials. This gives equipment Owners access to a wider customer base to help them grow and diversify their business.
Who sets the rental price for the equipment?
As the Owner, you set the rental prices and you can change the pricing whenever you like. To make your equipment attractive to potential Buyers, we recommend that the rental pricing is set competitively against market rates.
Can I rent out my equipment with an operator?
Yes, you can rent out your equipment on a self drive or fully operated basis… or both. If you would like to list both self drive and operated options for an item of equipment, simply create two inventory listings (self drive and operated) and price them accordingly. This helps Buyers conduct an accurate search based on whether they need self drive or operated equipment.
Who manages the rental listing?
You, as the Owner, manage your SharePlant Rentals account and equipment listings. You can change the listings and equipment information as often as you like by logging into your account. If required, our support team will assist you via our Live Chat function.
What are the benefits of using SharePlant Rentals to hire equipment?
At SharePlant Rentals you can find and hire all types of construction and engineering equipment when and where you need it. By hosting such a wide variety of equipment at across the UK, you can save time by searching in one place rather than emailing or calling multiple companies to find what you need. Our search facility also allows you to search for self drive or operated equipment, by location and date based on availability. Our equipment owners are fully vetted and audited by SharePlant Rentals to ensure you receive safe, high quality, reliable and legally compliant equipment.
What is included in the listed equipment prices?
The listed prices are the daily, weekly or monthly rental prices excluding VAT. VAT will be added to the order at Checkout.
As a Hirer does it cost me anything to join and use SharePlant Rentals?
No, as a Hirer it is free to join & rent equipment using SharePlant Rentals. We do not charge an administration fee or commission to Hirers. This means you can hire our equipment at very competitive prices.
